Pays and perks
- The officers are provided with a stipend of approx. rs.56000 during training
- Post commissioning as officers they are placed in pay scale level 10 (Rs.56100-177500)
- Military service pay Rs 15500
- Various allowances are paid as per branch and location of duty including Flying allowance, hard area allowance, island allowance, sailing allowance etc.
- Free accommodation, food, medical facilities for self and family.
- Annual leave 60 days and casual leave 20 days.
- Air travel for self and family during leave once a year
- Canteen facilities
